Lauren Fulton:
“My main reason for joining the Aspire Recruitment Group was because I felt they take the time out to ensure all of their staff is happy in everything they do. The atmosphere is a work hard play hard environment and this is shown throughout the group. Training in also key and they ensure that every consultant is developing all the time to increase success within the group, fantastic training courses are offered”.

Jonny Smith:
“I have now been working for the Aspire group now for nearly 8 months now and to be completely honest I am loving the change of direction to what I was doing previously. There is defiantly an air about working for the Aspire group. I have never worked for a company where everyone works so closely and professionally with one and other on all levels. Everyone is so helpful and willing to put themselves out for one another which to me speaks volumes. There is also a strong atmosphere of team unity in each office which also I have never experienced before. I think its great how the company all pulls together to get the results we are after; top bunch of people!”

Danielle Duke Smith:
“I Joined Aspire just short of a year ago and I can honestly say it has been the best career move I’ve ever made, I was introduced by a friend who told me I would really enjoy it and she wasn’t wrong, from the atmosphere, the people, the training and development and encouragement and recognition you receive its fantastic. How many people can honestly say they love coming to work...? I can each and every day.”

Vicky Andrews:
“I joined Aspire, not having any experience in the recruitment or construction industry at all. I was made to feel really welcome and have had the support of a great group of people who have guided me in the right direction. The company is very people orientated and offers the staff many opportunities. I enjoy working for Aspire because it is very professional and growing company that I am pleased to be part of.”

Tracie McDonald:
“On looking to join a new company I decided that what I was looking for was to be part of a forward thinking company that valued the ideas and opinions of those who worked there. Aspire for me ticks all of those boxes. Being a privately owned company means that Aspire does not have to conform to Corporate Guidelines and strict regimes laid down by others many years ago and so is able to move with the times and allows itself to incorporate new and exciting methodology on a regular basis. A truly great company to work for.”

Jane Hodgkinson:
“Having worked for other larger agencies I joined Aspire for a number of reasons: What attracted me the most was the way that the company and staff really understand the recruitment industry. No-one in Aspire works here because it is “just a job”. Every individual is self motivated and full of passion & drive which runs through the company from top to bottom. You are always supported with everything you need to do a professional job from client care right through to candidate attraction. There are common goals and Aspire works hard to get the top recruiters in every field to work for them of which I am glad to say they thought I was one!”

Claire Fincken:
“I was attracted to join the Aspire group by the advice that I would be given the opportunity and rewards that I was lacking at my previous company. When I joined I was surprised by the warm friendly environment and a team full of motivated individuals who had the same ambitions and goals as me. I am now excited at my new career and in turn happy to be part of a successful and forward thinking company.”

James Edwards:
“I joined Aspire because I was looking for a challenge; I felt the organisation offered me the opportunity to grow where other companies didn’t. I’ve not worked for a company like Aspire before, there is a genuine family atmosphere and culture of helping each other out both within the individual company’s and across the group. I would genuinely recommend Aspire as a place to work for any dedicated, self-motivated individual who was looking for an opportunity to join a company with personality. Be prepared that it might infiltrate your life though.”

Natalie Egan:
“Aspire is one of the best companies that I’ve worked for because everyone within the group is friendly, and always willing to help out whenever problems occur. I've also found them very accommodating and flexible for people with families.”

Tommy Smith:
“I came to Aspire to work With Ashley because I bought into his vision on where he can take Aspire and myself. Going into my fourth year now with Aspire and I still really enjoy my job and have met all my expectations. I have seen the company grow from six of us working out of a small office to now operating six subsidiaries its quite amazing really how quickly we have grown. The people that work for Aspire are all very similar and have the same beliefs and ambitions which makes Aspire what it is today. It's a pleasure to work for the Aspire group, and may it continue in the future.”

Chris Bowkett:
“I joined Aspire after a strong recommendation from my friend and now work colleague Cheryl. Cheryl and Louise told me that there is a very strong family work ethic within the company and that hard work is not only recognised but rewarded. Since joining Aspire I have found this to be true and feel like a genuine member of the Aspire Family and look to developing my career further within the company.”

Cheryl Fincken:
“I joined Aspire Recruitment Group in March 2006 and I had been told that, rather than being micro-managed like so many recruitment companies do, you are trusted to perform and grow your business your way, with all the support you need, if you require it. I have found Aspire to be just that and I love it for these exact reasons, along with being an exciting, innovative and above all, a genuinely friendly place to work. The support and encouragement that I receive from my Manager, as well as my colleague’s provide me with a good platform from which to succeed.”

Kate Knapp:
“I joined Aspire as I was interested in re-building my career after a career break to have my son. I was especially interested in the companies ethos and vision and that there was a great sense of team work with a strong support network. I have loved every minute since I started with Aspire and have been able to grow quickly within the company. Working with Aspire allows you to work on your own initiative, work outside the usual parameters of corporate life and rewards for hard work and loyalty, all important factors for me in working with a company.”

Jo Picton:
“I joined Aspire 9 months ago and have never enjoyed a job so much. My previous employer never gave credit where due, always cancelled training at the last minute and generally didn’t take care of its staff. Aspire on the other hand values its employees and backs that up by arranging regular first class training sessions, social nights out so staff from all the branches can get together and bond. I think I can vouch for the majority of the people working for Aspire when I say that it’s the best company they have worked for!”

Nina Patterson:
“Aspire attracted me from the beginning from the laid back yet professional approach from both Ash and Laura during my interview, instantly I felt like I would be looked after and felt like my progress within aspire as well as the company’s progress was there main goal, the job role and the instant feel of the office when I walked in made my decision for me. Aspire is like no other company I have ever worked for, its like one big family, everyone honestly cares for one another both professionally and personally and there is always someone on hand to help you out or give advice.”

Claire Griffin:
“I joined aspire right at the beginning; I was the only consultant at that stage. I knew instantly it would be a good company to work for as the other employees had the same ideas of what a good place to work would be as I do. Everyone was very motivated and wanted to be successful. This has stayed the same as we have grown. I feel like Aspire is one big family, I have not experienced this in any company before.”

Adam Young:
“I was attracted to Aspire because of the scope and opportunity that was available, and to work with a rapidly growing recruitment firm and some of the top consultants in today’s business. Since joining the firm nearly seven months ago I have not been let down, the ethos and environment is one that can rival most businesses in the recruitment market place in a way that is unexpected, the mixture of fun, enthusiasm is carefully balanced with professional and focused goals not only personally but as a company, there fore managing and exceeding all of my expectations. Strength achieved by unity is something that is boasted by the organization, and they follow that to a tee. All in all it a great firm to work for, be a part of and feel like you are part of something and not just another bum on a seat!!”

Emma Charles:
“I joined Aspire in 2007 with the ambition to become a top biller, like many of my colleagues are. Knowing how quickly Aspire had expanded attracted me to join such a evolving company. I came into Aspire with knowledge of the construction industry but no sales experience. To date I feel I have had adequate training as a rookie to introduce me to the sales side of this job. I have worked at many companies that do not provide sufficient training or the chance to progress so rapidly. Aspire as a whole are a family built business that thrives on the progression and development of their employees. This is a main factor that attracts me to Aspire, knowing that my personal development is considered as important as the company’s development. At Aspire you are not just a number but a valued member of staff, which is something every employee appreciates.”

Laura Evans:
“Working within the IT recruitment industry which is predominantly a male orientated environment whilst having a young family and home life commitments was going to be hard. After working within one agency and interviewing at others realised that that work/home life balance wasn’t a top priority for other employers, until I discovered Aspire. The fact that Aspire is a family owned and run business, the fact that everyone employed has been a referral from someone already working here and that that they pride themselves on the fact that everyone working here has a say in how the business is run and managed made my mind up. Not only are the people I see everyday in and around the offices my colleagues, they are my friends. Recruitment is always a fast paced environment with most agencies suffering a high staff turnover, Aspire is different, we are all in this long term as we all feel that we are part of its success. I can honestly say that I can see myself having a long term career here at Aspire, something I never thought of before.”

Danny Sanderson:
“After originally being placed in a job through Aspire a year later I joined the team. This was after meeting with Ashley and my current manager Claire who offered me a position in the company as a consultant in the contracts department. I can honestly say I’ve found the company great to work for and feel I have been welcomed into the ‘family’ that is Aspire. The company has grown quickly since I started 12 months ago but I still feel we are a very employee focused company offering excellent support to its staff. Having previously worked for much larger companies than Aspire and it was a refreshing change to work somewhere where I felt like part of a proper team working together for a common goal. Great place, great people.”

Louise Matthews:
“I joined Aspire just under 3 years ago after working for another agency for over six years this was a very scary move for me, but I am glad to say I have never looked back! I feel everything that I was promised at the start from flexible working, fun environment, and rewards for hard work have always been given. Aspire really do look after all their employees and I feel extremely fortunate that I have managed to work with them!!”

Laura Cole:
“I joined Aspire because one of my friends was working for Aspire and she was 100 times happier working with Aspire then with the company we worked together for previous. For months she regularly encouraged me to join her and was convinced I would be happier leaving a company which didn't reward staff that worked hard and if anything held you back as they assumed you was part of the furniture. She knew that I needed to be with a company who would suit my needs of being a young mum and understand that I shouldn't be held back or penalised because I had family commitments (like my previous employer) and that as I was self motivated and ambitious that I would be able to have the same results as any other with the same amount of experience as myself. At first I had never heard of Aspire but soon realised that within the Trades and Labour sector they were overtaking other agencies within the local area and was soon becoming a well known agency within the Construction Industry. Although I was working for a competitor, no clients I spoke to had any poor words to say about any of the staff at Aspire and I soon realised that the service provided by Aspire was second to none.

It wasn’t all about BIG IS BEST and it was more about the personal touch and hard work which each member of Aspire put in which is one of the reasons Aspire has now become as well known as other agencies in the local area as ones that have been around for years. With me knowing all of this - why wouldn’t I want to be a part of that growing team? I was worried at first at coming out of my comfort zone and taking the risk of loosing everything I had worked so hard for but soon realised that I had nothing to be worried about and without a doubt made the best decision in my career in recruitment. Unlike other agencies, Aspire has fantastic staff retention as they tailor your needs and ambitions to suit the role you are doing or the ladder you are climbing. You are rewarded for your hard work and without a doubt supported if things are not going so well for you. It is an absolute pleasure working for Aspire as I believe they carefully select their employees who are all motivated, charismatic, hardworking, honest individuals who not only work damn hard but also have a sense of humour which is a complete contrast to other sales focused environments to be in.”

Dee O’Connor:
“I joined Aspire Contracts only a short time ago but have been made to feel very welcome. From day one Aspire have helped me step by step to ensure I am a excellent consultant for the company. I have always received help and advice when I’ve needed it. No-one is ever ‘too busy’ to help me. Adrienne Ritchie attracted me to Aspire. I had previously worked for her at Johnston Press and I have a lot of respect for Adrienne and trusted her judgements that I would love it at Aspire Recruitment and she was right!

Previous companies I have worked for I have just felt like a number and a bum on a seat but this is not the case with Aspire Recruitment. I feel like I’m an important part to the trades and labour team and I feel that my input in valued. I am always kept up to date with what is going on with the company. I feel Aspire Recruitment look after each and every one of us. My needs have always been accommodated by management at Aspire Recruitment. I feel the bonuses and benefits are generous and this inspires me to work harder and harder. As sad as it is my job is always on my mind and how I could do better.”
